Mr Tom Eadie Managing Director

Qualifications: M.Sc, F.AusIMM, SA Fin

Experience: Board member since 30 March 2003. Tom Eadie has significant experience within the junior resources sector, as well as technical and senior executive levels with major mining companies Pasminco, Aberfoyle Resources and Cominco. He is a past director of the AusIMM and Discovery Metals.

Mr John Dunlop Non Executive Director

Experience: John Dunlop is a consultant mining engineer with close to 40 years surface and underground mining experience both in Australia and overseas spanning more than 25 countries. He is a former director of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) and continues as chairman of its affiliate, the Mineral Industry Consultants Association (MICA).

Mr David Ogg Company Secretary

Qualifications: B Ec., M.AusImm

Experience: David Ogg is a founding director of Royalco and its Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. David was previously a director of Mineral Commodities Ltd and was actively involved in its management and operations during the period from 1989 to 2000 and is currently Financial Controller and Company Secretary of Syrah Resources Ltd.
Prior to being involved in an executive capacity with resource based companies, David was principal of David Ogg & Associates Pty Ltd, a firm involved in corporate advisory activities mainly for resource sector clients and has had a variety of roles in the stockbroking, merchant banking and the financial services area generally, including project financing and corporate advice.

 

Mr Terry Lees Exploration Manager

Qualifications: B.App.Sc. (Geol), M.Sc. (Geol), M. Env., FAIG

Experience: Terry has over 20 years experience in exploration and mine geology, much of this with a lead-zinc and copper-gold focus and exposure to diverse geological terrains. Expertise includes management of exploration teams and programs, risk analysis in exploration and development, and extensive knowledge of global mineral deposits. Terry spent nearly 3 years in academic research into mineral deposits, at Melbourne and Monash Universities, principally with the predictive mineral deposits Co-operative Research Centre. This involved extensive research on ore deposits and geology, including roles as Program Coordinator and Senior Research Fellow.

Mr Peter Buckle Chief Geologist Einasleigh Mining

Qualifications: B.A (Geology), PG Dip. Econ Geol

Experience: Mr Buckle joined Copper Strike June 2007 as Chief Geologist of the Manager of the Einasleigh Project. Mr Peter Buckle has extensive experience in the exploration industry including 10 years in copper and gold related environments in Queensland Australia after experience in base metal exploration in Georgetown, Mt Isa and Broken Hill areas. Mr Buckle has held senior Managerial roles based at mine sites providing exposure to modern resource methodologies.

 

 

 

Mr Barrie Laws Non Executive Director

Qualifications: B Com, ACIS, ASA, SF Fin

Experience: Barrie Laws has had extensive experience in investment management and general management with Colonial Mutual, Equity Life and Norwich Union Life where he was Chief Executive Officer when he retired from full time employment.
Barrie is a non executive director of Acorn Capital which is a major investor in listed companies outside the 250 largest by market capitalisation.
