Projects Overview
- Einasleigh Project, North Queensland – The discovery of five deposits over the last three years – Einasleigh, a small high grade copper deposit; Kaiser Bill, a larger opencuttable copper deposit; Chloe, a shallow zinc-lead-silver deposit of about 3 million tonnes; Jackson, a smaller version of Chloe and Railway Flat, a well-located, lower grade, shallow, zinc-lead-silver deposit – has led to the initiation of a feasibility process to study the economic robustness of their joint development. The feasibility study is due to be completed in September 2008.
- Walford Creek, NW Queensland – Drilling by Copper Strike delineated a large, shallow, polymetallic resource in the Century area of NW Queensland. Further drilling is necessary to expand the resource.
- Kamarga, NW Queensland – This prospect is based on a previously identified large zone of zinc mineralisation. A Copper Strike drill programme completed in 2007 indicated that the zone of mineralisation, which comprises tens of millions of tonnes containing 2% zinc, may have significant higher grade portions.
- Lake Margaret and Linda, Tasmania – These tenements surround the Mt Lyell Copper Mine.
Copper Strike maintains interest in:
Bocoolima (gold) in Central Queensland
White Rock (tungsten) in New South Wales – acquired by Paradigm Gold for share options and future payments.
